I just love my beach sessions and this is one of my favourites!  Meet my 'little' cousin Nick and his family.  After living in North Queensland, away from family for nearly 20 years, it was so lovely to be able to do this shoot and have the chance to get to know them a bit better. I grew up with my cousins and while we don't see each other that often these days, we all have a special bond which was definitely fostered by our Grandparents.  Christmas mornings at Nan and Grandads, with 13 Grandkids was always the BEST!  On top of that, my Grandparents had a holiday house in Caloundra where we could all gather and spend time together.  Some of my happiest memories!  And now, most of us have families of our own, and our kids are getting to know each other.  The bond that our Grandparents created continues with the next generation!

Oh, and I should probably mention that Aleesha is the most beautiful human (it's not all about my side of the family)!  Family really is everything and the love that Nick and Aleesha have for their kids and each other shines through in these images.  Enjoy!

I absolutely love photographing families and it's made even more special when I get to photograph them more than once!  I met this beautiful family two years ago when they asked me to take their family portraits down at the beach. This time, we met down by the river on a stunning afternoon and captured some truly beautiful moments.  These sisters have such a special bond and it was so lovely to observe them together.  I seriously have the best clients... I love it!!

Oh my goodness!!  This session had me doing some pretty major happy dancing while I was editing!  I had never been out to Ninderry before so the lead up to this shoot involved a lot of scouting locations and me putting the usual silly amount of pressure on myself to find the perfect spot. I found a gorgeous spot on one of my many trips out there, but I wanted something different SO, I arrived at our location half an hour before the shoot and had a walk around.  With 15 minutes to go I found a spot that I thought had potential and rang Kate to let her know of the location change for the start of our session.  Well... turns out it was B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L!!! The first sequence of images were taken in my special find and I can honestly say, it's one of my favourite spots ever!!  The kids were beyond adorable and made for the most perfect little subjects to photograph.  It really was a dream session!!
